Workers will be expected to perform the following tasks and be responsible for these duties: mow, mulch, planting, cleaning, fertilizing, watering, pruning, trimming, edging, weeding, blowing, etc. using traditional. landscaping machinery and tools including but not limited to stand up mowers, sit down mower, weed eaters, push mowers, trimmers, edgers, hand tools, etc. Employer will provide all necessary equipment at no charge to employee. Work will typically be Mon.-Fri. from 8:00am-4:00pm but may vary because industry is dependent on weather conditions.
Regular pay rate:
$14.19 per hour and OT will be paid at $21.29 if applicable (by law). Pay will be every two weeks and is computed on a single work week. Employer will reimburse H-2B worker in the first week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other fees as required by law. If worker travels from abroad, travel expenses will be reimbursed. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed, if earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to a subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $12.68 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts. Employer will make deductions from paychecks as required by law. The employer will attempt to abide by 3/4 rule by offering work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 6-week period of the total employment period.
